MPUC Academic Programs
Over the years, the Mombasa Polytechnic has established itself as one of the kingpin institutions for the training of high level manpower in the vocational and technical fields in Kenya.
Under its new status and mandate, the University College shall offer academic programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate degree levels with strong focus on technological, scientific and vocational areas of study.
At the same time the university college shall maintain its traditional mandate in the training of middle-level manpower, through its Diploma and Certificate programmes. The Mombasa Polytechnic University College has developed an ambitious strategic plan for propelling it to a Centre of Excellence and leading institution in higher technological and professional education and training producing graduates with skills, knowledge and attitudes required by the labour market.

To be a Centre of Excellence in technical and vocational education and training producing highly disciplined and skilled professionals who meet the requirements of local industry and also attractive to the international labour market.

To provide high quality training in specialized disciplines and produce graduates with desirable attitudes, skills and knowledge for the Kenyan labour market and beyond.
