The college has two major intakes first one in January and the Second in August and for short courses in May. The courses are advertised in the national and local media and website. Interested candidates submits their application two months in advance to the commence of the course..
Undergraduate Students (Degree programms)
MPUC is currently offering the following undergraduate studies under the tutelage of JKUAT at its Mombasa Campus:1. BSc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
2. Btech in Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology
3. Bachelor in Business Administration
4. BSc. in Information Technology
5. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Admission to this courses is both directly from JAB and students already holding Higher Diplomas and Diplomas (credit tranfer facility available). Their is also provision for admission of self sponsored students.
Diploma and Higher Diploma programms
So as to retain our tradition as a TIVET institution MPUC will continue offering Higher and National diploma courses. The entry requirement for diploma courses is determined by the individual course applied for. A mean grade of C (plain) with the required passes in cluster subjects would guarantee one of entry into our Diploma programms
