Entry Requirements

It is the responsibility of the applicant to submit to the Mombasa Polytechnic University College valid testimonial and certificates such as School, Diploma, Degree or Postgraduate certificates prior to the commencement of classes, where required.

An applicant shall NOT be admitted to any programme within the University College without satisfying the minimum entry requirement of the University.

Students must also satisfy faculty and departmental requirements before registering for courses in any department.

Pre-Certificate and Certificate Programmes

The entry requirement for admission to a Pre-Certificate programme shall be minimum of KCSE D+ (plus) or its equivalent as well as other requirements as may be specified for the programme by the respective faculties.

The entry requirement for admission to a certificate programme shall be minimum of KCSE C- (minus) or its equivalent as well as other requirements as may be specified for the programme by the respective faculties.

Admission to a certificate programme examinable by a professional body shall be in accordance to the requirements and conditions set by the professional body
