Entry Requirements

It is the responsibility of the applicant to submit to the Mombasa Polytechnic University College valid testimonial and certificates such as School, Diploma, Degree or Postgraduate certificates prior to the commencement of classes, where required.

An applicant shall NOT be admitted to any programme within the University College without satisfying the minimum entry requirement of the University.

Students must also satisfy faculty and departmental requirements before registering for courses in any department.

Degree Programmes

For a candidate to be admitted to undertake a Bachelors Degree Programme he/she must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum aggregate of C+ in Kenya Certificate of secondary Education (K.C.S.E) for direct entry.
• Those with a Diploma from Mombasa Polytechnic University College or recognized Diplomas from recognized Institution.
• Degree from a recognized University in relevant field.
• ‘A’ level candidates with two principal passes in relevant subjects.
• CPA/CPS/CIPS for Commerce and Arts.
• Higher Diploma in relevant fields.
• Equivalent qualifications from other countries as shall be determined by the Academic Board
