GRADUATION AND SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMS

(A) SECOND GRADUATION CEREMONY
WEDNESDAY 14TH DECEMBER, 2011

The Mombasa Polytechnic University College, a leading institution in Engineering, Science and Technology, wishes to announce her Second Graduation Ceremony to be held on Wednesday, 14th December, 2011 beginning at 9.00 a.m. at the Graduation Square in the main Campus along Tom Mboya Avenue Mombasa.

Those students who qualified for the award of various Higher Diplomas, Diplomas and Certificates in the academic years 2010/2011 to 2011/2012 together with their guardians and members of the public are requested to observe the following:

PUNCTUALITY
Graduands and guests are advised to arrive early and be seated not later than 8.30 a.m.  Please note that after 8.30 a.m., no entry will be permitted into the Graduation Square.

CLEARANCE
All qualified students are advised to clear all outstanding fees and any other levies owed to the University College so as to be allowed to participate in the Ceremony.    For this purpose, each qualified student is expected to fill an application form which can be downloaded from the MPUC website or be obtained from the Registrar Academic Affairs office (Students’ Registry).

GRADUATION/ALUMNI FEES
Each graduand shall pay Graduation fee of Kshs.1,500/= and Kshs.200/= for Alumni Association Fee before 9th December, 2011.

REHEARSAL
The rehearsal shall be on Tuesday 13th December, 2011 at 10.00 a.m.  All graduands are expected to attend and are advised to be seated by 9.45 a.m. at the Graduation Square.

HIRE OF ACADEMIC GOWN
All graduands must be dressed in the academic attire to participate in the Graduation Ceremony as well as the rehearsal.  The academic gown will be available for hire at Kshs.800/= from the Registrar Academic Affairs office.  Graduands are advised to collect the attire from
10th to 13th December, 2011 upon producing a receipt of payment for the same.   The gowns should be returned before 20th December, 2011, failure to which a fine of Kshs.500/= shall be levied per day. PAYMENTS
