Note from the Chairman

This department was created from the department of Applied sciences.
The department is in the Faculty Of Pure and Applied Sciences

Currently only two programmes are offered in the department i.e Medical labaratory Sciences and Phamaceutical Technology. The Medical Labaratory course is offered at Certificate, Diploma, and Higher Diploma levels while Phamaceutical Technology is offered only at Diploma level.

The two programms have been approved by the respective National boards i.e Kenya Medical Technicians and Technologists Board (KTMLB) and Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB)

Soon the department plans to mount degree courses in Medical Labaratory Sciences and Pharmacy
