ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES

In its endeavour to remain unique, the Mombasa Polytechnic University College will continue to offers technology based certificate, diploma and degree programmes that are tailor-made to address the industrial sector needs. In addition to this, the institution seeks to remain a centre of excellence by inculcating necessary skills and virtues that are in tandem with the labour market expectations.

I) Tertiary programs

The institution continues to offer Certificates, Diplomas, Higher Diplomas and Degree programmes in:- Applied and Health sciences, Business studies, Medical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Building & Civil Engineering, Mechanical & Automotive Engineering, Media & Graphics Design, Tourism & Hospitality, Community Development and Information & Computer Technology.

II) Undergraduate programmes

Through legal notice No.160 of 2007 Mombasa Polytechnic University College has been established as a Constituent College of JKUAT. The following degree programmes offered started in January 2009. Prospective candidates legible for admission in to the degree programmes are holders of Diploma, Higher Diploma and JAB KCSE candidate who meet the cutoff points and the clusters of the degree programmes listed here in.

B. Tech in Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology.
B. Tech in Business studies (Accounting)
B. Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
