Note from the Chairman

Welcome to the department of Mathematics and Physics

This is one of the new departments in the faculty of Applied and Health Sciences. Its a department that services most of the other departments in the university. This is done by having all the mathematics and physics units across all the departments coodinated fat this department. Since mathematics is a key requirement in most of the courses offered at the institution of higher learning in and outside the country, the department offers an upgrading course in Mathematics.

The course is designed to offer an opportunity to those who desire to improve their grades in Mathematics. It enables one to meet the admission requirements of various undergraduate degree, Diploma or certificate courses at the university or any other learning institution
